Drop Scones - Recipes

ok, i've never tried this before. But, my bestfriend did and it tasted like KFC breakfast scones. (!) I took this from a book called Meet Me At The Cupcake Cafe by Jenny Colgan This book is rather interesting as every chapter starts off with a recipe of cakes/scones/cupcakes. Even though, i have inner interest in baking scrumptious sweet sins like these, I'd rather invest in a good oven and mixer first.

First of all, you need:
8 oz self-raising flour
1 oz caster sugar
I egg
10 oz of full cream milk
Pinch of Salt

Stir and mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Make a 'well' in the centre and drop in the egg and the milk. Whisk until the batter have a creamy consistency. Preheat and butter heavy-based pan. Drip off the mix from a spoon. Flip it until it's ready to serve with milk, butter, jam, cream, choc dips.
 yumz. Perfect for a great Sunday morning like this!
